Josh Graham chose to practice law in order to help others. His clients know this best. He a tireless worker who genuinely wants to see them succeed.
DISABILITY CLAIMS CASES
In the cases he handles for clients who have been denied disability benefits—Social Security Disability, Supplemental Security Income; Veterans Disability, Ohio Public Employees Retirement, and State Teachers Retirement System Disability—it is not unusual for Josh to literally help his clients survive through the entire process, which can take multiple years.
Specifically, Josh explains, “the time it takes for Social Security to process claims can feel like an eternity. Especially when a disability keeps you from earning a living. Some of my clients stand to lose assets they have earned from working their whole lives. Without an income, people waiting for social security disability claims often do need interim assistance in obtaining food, shelter, and medical treatment. Or I can assist them in securing a vocational rehabilitation program that leads to a new type of work. I do all that I can do to help.”
Josh’s knowledge of the legal issues in disability claims and his ability to quickly assess a client’s options and shepherd a case through appeals has resulted in just compensation, time and time again. He says it is the most rewarding part of his practice— “winning that case for my client that has waited so long through the appeal process. Each success story ultimately results in getting my clients the income and medical insurance they need to get back on their feet and move forward with their lives. I take pride in the fact that we are successful in more cases than we are unsuccessful.”
DEDICATION AMD RESULTS
In addition to his legal skills, Josh has a well-developed ability to interact, communicate, and listen to others, effectively. Working various jobs at a young age, which required lots of face-to-face contact in dealing with people, taught him valuable lessons he applies in his practice today.
“All of my clients are important, big and small. All get superior service, attention, dedication, and results,” says Josh. “If I am the attorney handling your case, you will meet with me in person, no matter how far I need to travel, and I will take care of you through the entire process. Not every lawyer or law firm can say that, but at Graham & Graham we have a long-standing history of giving personal and professional attention to your matter. That is just business as usual.”
When not working to solve his clients’ problems, Josh is involved in Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Zanesville, where he mentors his 11-year-old “little brother,” Jeffery. He is also a member of the Zanesville Downtown Association Board of Directors and a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives.
