Stephen R. McCann

Stephen R. McCann has built his career around helping people through difficult and uncertain moments. His interest in the law began early, watching his father serve clients as an attorney for more than 50 years. After spending summers working in his father’s office, Steve saw firsthand how careful listening, sound judgment, and steady guidance could make a real difference in people’s lives.

Steve earned his law degree from Cleveland State University after completing his undergraduate studies at Miami University. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1976 and the District of Columbia Bar in 2008. At Graham Law, his practice focuses on personal injury, civil litigation, and related matters where clients often come to him facing stress, questions, and unfamiliar legal processes. For recognition of his continued commitment to his Ohio clients, Steve was recently recognized at the Ohio State Bar Association’s annual meeting for his 50 years of legal service.

Steve’s approach is straightforward. He takes time to understand what happened, explains the process in plain terms, and helps clients move forward with more confidence. For injury clients, that often means reducing fear of the unknown so they can focus on recovery while he works to protect their interests.

Steve is a member of the Muskingum County Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Association for Justice, and American Association for Justice. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his son and grandchildren, traveling abroad with his daughter, and fly-fishing with friends and family.
